Shawn Jennings, along with his band, The Southern Roots Band, have been burning up Texas dancehalls for the past couple of years. Based out of Caldwell, TX, Shawn and his band have played everywhere from South Texas to the state of Missouri. Opening for stars such as Mark Chestnut, The Bellamy Brothers, Aaron Watson and Jason Allen, to name a few. Shawn has also received airplay across Texas, Oklahoma and even overseas with songs off his first two albums "I Need A Margarita" and "Broken Wings". Now with the release of his latest album titled "My Desire", Shawn and The Southern Roots Band look forward to another great year. "My Desire" is full of new songs written by Shawn that engulf every emotion. From country, southern rock, story telling ballads to all out bluegrass, this new album has a little bit of everything, which in Shawn's eyes, is what Texas music is all about.
